I’ve been using Kojic soap since college, and while it’s definitely effective, I’ve noticed that some parts of my skin, especially my arms, which are often exposed to the sun are slightly darker than the rest of my body.
Any recommendations on how to even out my skin tone? It’s honestly kind of intimidating.

Sunscreen is honestly your best friend…even the darkest spots will start to fade if you’re consistent with SPF 30+ daily. I like the Japanese sunscreens since they’re lightweight and don’t feel greasy.
Just a heads up that trying to keep your skin “fair” can be really damaging…your natural skin tone is beautiful and healthy! If you’re worried about uneven tone from sun exposure though, SPF is gonna be your best friend for preventing more darkening and maybe a gentle vitamin C serum to help with existing spots. The kojic soap might actually be too harsh and making things worse since it can make you more sensitive to sun damage.
