High school reunions are for losers

I’m still friends with a few people who were my friends back in high school. However, I’ve known those people since elementary school and we were involved in the same extracurricular activities like the scouts or Little League.

I skipped my 10 year reunion and recently my 20 year reunion. I’m glad that I did because the only people who showed up were the people who peaked in high school. They haven’t done much with their lives except picking up a few DUIs and still live with their parents. They are broke and have no families or career of their own. It’s embarrassing.
