Me17 (f) and my girlfriend 17(f) have been together for 6 months. The relationship is great for those 6 months but there was one thing i noticed that contributed to a lot of our arguments. She is very loving, clingy even, especially in person and when we’re alone. Although sometimes I notice, when we bump into each other in school or in some place else, she would go on her phone and blatantly ignore me as if I wasn’t there. For example, we would be flirting on text the night before; everything good. then the next morning when i would see her. She would look at me, talk to her friends and go on her phone as if she hadn’t seen me wave. Even her friends would point out that I was there saying things like “oh there’s ***” but she would just go on her phone pretending that she hadn’t heard nor seen anything. I have communicated this a lot. She apologized but didn’t really say the reason or just plainly saying “ohhh I was busy eating” or I was busy talking. But even if she was busy it was so obvious that she could see me but why wouldn’t she acknowledge my presence? It’s always like that and it’s honestly getting tiring. Sometimes | gaslight myself to not take it too personally but honesty it hurts a lot. I have thought of breaking up with her several times, but i can’t bring myself to do it because honestly other than that she is a good girlfriend. What should i do?
