So this is something that has been bothering me since I noticed it.

The photos were said to be of fake gore, but then….”After the show we publicly claimed we had invented his life and artworks. No sculpture ever existed, the images documenting his artworks were photos of real atrocities found on the internet.”
I looked at the photos out of curiosity.
To my shock I recognized one. I’m a fan of true crime. One of them is a Dahmer Polaroid. This is bothering me because this exhibition was in 1998. How did they end up on the internet then? Do you think Eva and Franco know it’s a Dahmer? Does anyone but me?

I’m sure someone here or r/MondoGore would possibly know if Morbid Reality isn’t around anymore. They might have more of a background in finding out who leaked the crime scene photos or the timeline for when it popped up.
It’s not too uncommon for crime scene stuff to be leaked online, let alone out of the question for the 90s. If it can happen to smuggled execution footage, I don’t see why not here. Plus, this would have been around the time Rotten was booming and if they wound up on there first, that also wouldn’t surprise me.
