With the rise of online shopping, how the heck do you guys find your smell? I feel like I see women occasionally compliment aftershaves and how men smell. But I have made it to nearly 30 without a “signature scent”, so how did you guys find yours?
Did you just pick the most popular one? Did you get one gifted at Christmas and smell like that forever? Do you just not wear one? Or did your crush compliment you at 15 and that’s been your life ever since?

Go to shops try different ones and once you find your favourite buy it online.
Trial and error. I have a couple fancy aftershaves for certain occasions. But most days I use Aqua Velva. It smells pleasant but it’s a very weak smell, nobody but my sweetheart gets close enough to notice it. However, it’s a real good disinfectant.
I don’t really use aftershave. The best cologne I ever had was from a reddit thread years ago though where a guy said girls were constantly complementing him on it. I bought it. Girls started complimenting me on it so dude wasn’t lying. Mind you this was before reddit was so bot infested. Sadly they stopped making it.
You can buy samples online. There’s stores that sell 5ml samples. You could buy a couple and start figuring out what you like.
