Honestly no fucking clue… I‘m lucky that women approach me, but I have no clue how to start a conversation with someone I‘m interested in, unless they’re already HEAVILY giving me signs.

He may lightly tease, or may say something with innuendo or double entendre. He will compliment and ask about you. Ive never seen someone get asked out “as a joke”, so i dont know what that entails. i have seen people flirt jokingly, but it is usually both of them flirting jokingly, and its over-the-top to make it obvious and funny.
