Hoping for some help here. Body odor that is musty/ green from the butt to taint to sides of the sack. I’ve never asked someone this in person as its the source of all of my anxiety/nervousness/shyness.
I have changed my diet, tried vitamins, showered and cleaned these areas 2-3 times a day, used hibiclens, lemons/ lemon juice, body powder, ALOT of things. This whole thing started with puberty. My life was NORMAL before that. Right now im using dove 96 hour clinical antiperspirant cream which can be $8-11 each.
Struggling to also find a job because of this issue. I doubt ill be able to hold a job that involves people, i dont blame people for opting to not be near me(i seem to also have heat intolerance so i do have be careful what jobs i try to work or apply for). Its put me down a bad mental path were not being alive sounds better than all of this struggling im doing. I dont have health insurance, no job yet, so i cant see a doctor about this issue yet.
I smell fine after a shower or cleaning the smell prone areas but after sweating down there or pooping and wiping til dry, the odor comes on like always. I have researched about microbiomes and i have been trying to achieve a healthy one.
Im really lost here, ive made posts about this before. Ive only ever found short temporary/ ineffective solutions so far. I need a solution that works past sweating and having to wipe as you would after using the bathtoom. Ive got $230 to my name and im willing to spend that.
I wish this never developed with puberty. I remember back before the age of 12 having friends i could be around but now ive sunken to antisocial, avoid being in public as much as possible, lifestyle at just mid 20’s.
Really looking for help from people who know about this or had the exact same issue as me. Im a clean person but this just makes me feel dirtier than a sewer.

I would honestly make an appointment with a dermatologist. They’d probably be able to help a lot better.
Are you overweight? That could have something to do with it. Also, have you tried just a regular old deodorant stick? It sounds gross but hey might be worth a shot, don’t mix it up with your underarm one lol
Distilled vinegar in a spray bottle, rub it well into affected areas before showering, do this several times per week
Chlorophyll is purported to help, but YMMV.
Lume. It’s a full body deodorant that comes in various forms, like a stick deodorant, or just a cream in a tube. That shit’s magic. It keeps odors away for at least 24 hours, not that you should be going much longer than that without showering if you have an odor problem anyway. They make soaps, too, but I wasn’t overly impressed. But just shower as usual, in fact use hibiclens like you’ve tried, and then just rub on a layer of the lotion in your crevices. It’s great.
Some of them smell strong at first but the scent dissipates in about an hour. The only one that’s intolerable is the Jasmine Rose–PEWWW. I prefer the minted cucumber, or unscented. If I recall right, tangerine isn’t bad either.
One of my favorite tips for body odor is glycolic acid. The Ordinary is a brand which has it for pretty cheap ($13ish) for a big bottle. I’d recommend putting it in a spray bottle and applying 3-4 sprays per area after a shower. But do be careful around sensitive areas! It may sound scary with acid in the name, but I swear by it. It’s normally used as a toner for the face which helps with pigmentation.
If you do try it, I’d recommend testing it with just a small amount to see how your skin reacts. I’ve seen some sensitivity and drying of the skin but nothing crazy like welts- but seriously do a test first.
