Yesterday was my second day of college, and while waiting for the metro, a girl from my college (different division) approached me, calling by my name and i asked for her name and then we started talking. I’m pretty shy and socially awkward, so holding a conversation is hard for me and i mess up a lot while talking and I’m usually very quiet, but I managed to ask for her Instagram before we parted ways. Later that day, we ended up traveling back together, and today we did the same. Her cousin was with us, and she randomly brought up a conversation she had with another guy at college about setting each other up with patners but she said she wasn’t interested in dating and preferred an arranged marriage because relationships take a lot of efforts and commitment.
Even though I’m usually quiet and struggle with conversations, I’ve already started feeling attached to her in just two days. She’s really beautiful and sweet, and I’d love to date her, but with my social challenges, it doesn’t feel realistic. I wish I hadn’t gotten attached so quickly, but it’s hard to avoid when I’m still trying to make friends and adjust to college life.
TL;DR : met a girl and got attached way too quickly and trying to navigate things with her taking into consideration my social challenges
