I (25m soon) have been wearing side/cross body bags ever since 19. I liked it as a fashion accessory and the convenience of holding my go to items. Things such as wallet, cash, keys, earbuds, lip balm, vape, dab pen, eye drops, lighter, backup hair ties and emergency condoms (& more if I please.)
There’s no way I can imagine cramming even half of that shit into my pockets, is that what Yall guys have been doing?
Wallet and cash always in your pocket, cram your house car keys, phone in the other pocket, hang out lips chapped all day in the summer. Just sounds so raw dog of a lifestyle to live. Although I’m getting tired of always wearing a bag, I need solutions for when it does not fit my style.
I can give up vaping to make more space because disposables are so large these days, possibly leave most things in my car or in a cooler bag in the car and hope I won’t need items within reach. I need my wallet because not all work with Apple Pay for my work I do. Even still just the feeling of the items remaining crammed into my pockets just feels uncomfortable for me, my pants aren’t always super loose on thighs so when sitting it’s pushing into my thighs where I feel a huge relief when removing the items from my pockets on the thighs.

The older you get the less things you carry? 🤷♂️
Keys; wallet; phone. That’s pretty much all I need on my person.
Anything beyond that can be left in my car, and if I’m out somewhere, it’s likely that my car is there with me.
Wallet in back pocket (sometimes I don’t even take my wallet, just phone with contactless payment), phone in a pocket, keys and cigarettes in the other pocket and that’s it. If I have headphones, I’ll be wearing them even if I don’t use them actively.
Keys and lip chap go in front right pocket.
Wallet goes in back left pocket.
Phone goes in back right pocket.
iPod (yes… I still use one lol) goes in front left pocket.
… that’s pretty much all I need other than my sunglasses and maybe a water bottle depending on what I’m doing
My wallet goes into my jeans back pocket, phone left pocket and keys right pocket. Thats all I need when I go out.
When I am wearing a jacket then I usually put my keys into my jacket pockets and wallet in my right jeans pocket.
It happens rarely, but if I do need more space I end up putting my sunglasses into my wifes back.
I usually wear a type of field pants which are basically modified cargo pants. Lots of very roomy and secure pockets. When I wear them,
I cram everything into those pockets. Work great. Super comfy.
This being said, I carry far less when I’m not going into the field. Wallet, keys, phone, Swiss Army knife and maybe some mints. You carry a lot more than me so I recommend sticking with the bag. Even in my pants, that’d be quite a bit to carry on an everyday basis.
I have my phone in a wallet case, so that covers cash, cards, phone- that’s front right pocket . Typically wear jeans, keys are on a clip on a belt loop. Chapstick and pocket knife go in left front pocket with miscellaneous small items. Still have 2 empty pockets
I carry a wallet, phone, keys, gun, knife, pen, spare mag, gum, and earbuds. All pockets, just a thin ridge wallet, gun and mag go in the waistband, keys clip on the belt loop, knife in right pocket clipped from the side, pen left pocket clipped. So really the only things down in my pockets are my phone, wallet and earbuds. But at work those go in my shirt pocket. I drink around a gal of water a day and just tend to not have dry lips.
Half the shit you list isn’t even stuff I carry. Wallet, back pocket. Phone, belt clip. When I smoked, lighter and cigarettes were in my pocket. Keys on a carabiner on a belt loop. The rest of the things aren’t needed. I don’t get chapped lips, eye drops aren’t necessary, whatever a dab pen is, unnecessary, hair ties? Please, condoms, come on now…
Alot of it has to do with realizing half of that shit is dead weight. I only leave my house with a ridge(lightweight minimalist) wallet with a few cards and a $20. My keys and my phone. My chapstick is attached to my key ring along with a light and tiny knife. Everything else you want to carry around is juvenile and you will realize is useless eventually.
Phone front left, keys and knife front right, wallet in the back. Good to go. Never had a need for hair ties, vape, dab pen, lighter, or other extras.
I just carry a backpack now.
And before I had too much shit, I had phone wallet keys vape. Wallet phone on the right, keys and vape on the left.
men carry only flat items in our pockets
I generally have enough room in my pockets for my wallet (small), phone (not small), keys (small) and inhaler. I don’t vape, do whatever a dab pen does or carry lip balm. No need for hair ties either.
Try hiking pants they have two extra pockets.
Do you just carry all the bandages and first aid stuff in your pockets?
Phone, keys, wallet. 99% of the time that’s all I carry, so yeah it all just goes into my pocket. Only time that changes is when I go to work I might pack a backpack with my lunch/water bottle. Or same with having the kids with me I’ll pack a bag and toss it in the car with the stuff they might need
Wallet and keys in my left pocket.
Cash in the wallet because that’s half of what wallets are for.
Phone either on a belt clip or in my right pocket.
Everything else you listed is useless junk that I’ve never needed once in my 27 years of life.
I carry a wallet, keys, and phone. Idk why you have so much shit you carry around, lol. Get some pants with big ass pockets or keep using the purse.
Yeh, you just like having the bag. You dont need a bunch of that shit. Getting close to not even needing a wallet anymore.
Cash goes in the wallet. Other than that, all I feel the need to carry are keys, a small flashlight, my phone, and a multi-tool. It all fits in my pockets with room to spare, except the multi-tool; that clips onto my belt.
I tend to opt for a jacket for this. Atleast two tit pockets, and one inside. The work jackets i normally wear have two tit pockets, upper and lower inside pockets, and two side pockets, plus the pockets in my jeans, im normally pretty safe
