In financial terms, “success” and “wealth” to me both mean being able to put all of your bills on autopay and not have to look at the bills/check your bank balance before paying them.

Happiness. Contentedness. Peace. It’s kind of tricky because I’ve got hella anxiety, but generally, I’m pretty fucking content in life.

Not seeking external validation Celebrating my tiniest wins and taking the time to acknowledge my sacrifices. I also don’t share what I am working on (goals, career changes) until I have something to show for it. To me, every step is a success.

Making enough money to be able to live a life that consistently includes the things that bring me the most joy.

Simple living at my pace on my terms is the ultimate success for me. I have my health (remission), food, friends and hobbies, and a roof over my head that I own outright, so I feel I’m doing just fine.

In general it means setting goals regarding things you care about and achieving them.
