It’s fun to get Shocked/scared, i go in knowing its fake, and enjoy the ride.
I never enjoy and never watch.
I used to be that way when I first started watching horror but I feel like I’ve indulged in it so much now that it rarely has any lasting effect on me. Depends on the horror movie too. Some are just too dumb and illogical to be scary, but some can be pretty well-done.
I watch it for the fun of it. The Terrifier series is one of my favorites

You should watch the paranormal activity movies, the conjuring, and the V/H/S movies. At night. Alone. With the lights off.
I outgrew it. Not entertaining
Dumb fun. I like the suspenseful feeling. I like the imaginative concepts.
