ISO of a child abuse lawyer to represent a victim. When I try googling all the results are for those who are representing alleged perpetrators. What’s the best way to find an experienced lawyer in child abuse to represent a kindergarten aged child (someone who cannot testify)?
Edit: child (sexual) abuse from custodial parent
Location: Northern Virginia

A personal injury firm with experience in abuse claims (ie not a high-volume auto/slip&fall practice). If there’s no source of money for damages, most attorneys will decline the case.
If you’re asking about a criminal matter (and not a lawsuit), a child does not need an attorney. Ask the prosecutor for a victim advocate.
Are you looking for a lawyer to sue the abuser for monetary damages? Or a lawyer to intervene in a custody case against an abuser?
