After being a stay at home for nearly a decade? I was 23 the last time I had a job.. I’m so overwhelmed and this economy is such a drag!
I’m nervous and scared for interviews too haha

It can be SO overwhelming! I would definitely sign up for LinkedIn and work on your resume first and foremost. Also, you can find a lot of advice on social media LOL I follow @thecareertique and she’s more focused on women climbing the corporate ladder but she has some advice on resume tips and LinkedIn too! Take it one day at a time ♥️ try to tackle one thing everyday that gets you closer to being ready for a job again. Whether it’s practicing interview skills, reaching out to old contacts and networking or updating your resume 😊
Wow, that’s rough. Most companies won’t hire someone who’s out of the job for so long.
It definitely depends on your local job market and your skillset. In my country, there’s a shortage of skilled workers, so someone who has at least some qualifications will have a good chance, even though such a massive gap is seen as a red flag.
Do you have the qualifications to make up for this amount of time? Or do you need to get more qualifications via courses and so on first?
Best of luck to you!
