Olive oil and coffee grounds (I use the grounds from my morning coffee usually). Rub on my legs and then rinse off and shave with the layer of oil that is still on my legs. You will also get a THICK layer of dead skin off with the oil so don’t it in a tub/shower or with a towel. Closest and smoothest shave ever.
Sit in hot bath, new razor (men’s razor), start sideways in slow short motions, lift skin and repeat motions towards, use cool water, put on lotion and/or after shave spray
I go against the grain, unless it’s been a while, in which case I start by shaving down, then I shave up. I keep the razor in contact the whole time as I move it up and down. Then exfoliate. This is the routine I have built up over my many years, and it works the best for me.
Honestly? I just get waxed regularly now. It used to be once every month, but now I can stretch to once every 6 weeks. And it lasts, whereas shaving I could never get a close shave without ingrown hairs or irritation, and it would grow back by the next day.
Waxing hurts the first 1 or 2 times but after that the pain gets less and less. (Except your upper lip, that always hurts like hell for some reason).
Don’t laugh but conditioner works better than any shaving cream I’ve tried. Started doing this in college when I was broke and kept it up because my legs have never been smoother.
Wet legs, then soap legs, then wet again, then use Men’s Barbasol foam.
Very smooth shave that doesn’t take long at all. For razors, I just use cheapie men’s ones. Two blade style. Prolly 30 seconds per leg in the shower every other day.
After struggling with razor burn forever I started doing the Italian grandma trick olive oil after shaving. Sounds weird but my skin is baby smooth now.
Exfoliate every other day. I like the one at European wax center called Slow because it also slows the growth of new hair. Moisturize every day with Fur Oil. I can’t commit to waxing because I have a hard time growing it out in between. I get a very smooth shave with this routine. Also, because I wax, my hair is softer and more sparse making shaving easier.
Professional waxer here if you really want the closest shave don’t use cheap disposable razors. Invest in a good safety razor. Takes practice but gives you the smoothest results I’ve ever had. Plus it’s better for the environment and your wallet.
billie razor w brand new blade, exfoliating mitt and body wash before, sometimes I use a sugar scrub before (I do like the tree hut ones and ouai), athena club shave oil, shave against the grain.
Then saltair body oil post shave, josie maran whipped body butter after.

Use a men’s razor and good quality shaving foam
With the grain and then against the grain.

Passed on to me by a stripper that had a ton of body hair naturally but was the smoothest person in existence. It works fucking fantastically

Shave in the shower, use hot water, good cream, sharp blade and whisper sweet nothings to your razor like it’s your soulmate
