How do you go with the feeling of being unappreciated?

For me, it’s just another thing you get used to.
Nobody else owes you their appreciation
But if you can train yourself to appreciate your own work, you don’t really need it from them anyways
I don’t think you do. It’s the kind of feeling that just sort of sits there until you’ve gotten so used to it that you almost forget it’s there. For me, it got to the point where I barely realized how unappreciated I’d felt for so long until after I’d finally received a little appreciation for once. It’s like a breath of fresh air after exiting a smoke-filled room.
