How do you stop obsessing over how you look in photos?

r/

I avoid being in pictures because I always hate how I come out. It’s not just vanity I genuinely feel anxious and uncomfortable seeing myself. I know it sounds shallow, but it affects my confidence more than I’d like to admit. How do you learn to accept your face, your body, your presence, yourself?

TBH mate, it’s all in your head. We’re our own worst critics, ya know? Can guarantee ppl aren’t judging u half as much as u think. Gotta embrace the chaos that is human existence, quirks n all.

Christianity didn’t exist in 30 BC Jesus wasn’t even born yet. That’s likely referring to earlier Jewish or messianic traditions, not Christianity itself

Well I want pictures of those I love because I think they are beautiful people, flaws and all. Maybe take yourself out of the equation, the picture isn’t for you, it’s for those who care about you. And 20 years from now to remember what you looked like, what silly clothes one wore, and just you know a picture of a loved person.
