How does an American accent sound to people from other countries?

r/

For example, to Americans English spoken with a British accent sounds cultured and intelligent. English spoken with a French accent sounds sexy and exotic. So I’m curious to non Americans, how does an American accent come off in your language?

Well there’s more than one American accent.

The difference in a valley girl with a vocal fry to a redneck and a Boston native are all easily locked up. Some of the more subtle ones all sound the same.
