I know most people don’t end up doing stuff related to their degrees but my dad has a college degree and got into a masters program, although he didn’t complete it. Why can’t he seem to get a job better than like a glorified janitor. Not even a simple office job or something. We’ve been pretty poor all our lives and i just don’t get it. He has a lot of experience too, and he speaks 3 languages which is pretty useful i would think because we live in a pretty diverse place. What do you think he should do to get a better job?
How does my dad have a college degree but can’t seem to get a somewhat better job

First off jst bout everyone has a bachelors when applying to roles these days particularly in STEM if thats what your dad’s in. He got into a masters but didnt complete so it doesn’t matter. Also uni prestige matters alot but its not the end all be all. Its really down to the competitive environment and your dads not to be rude average qualifications. Dont worry tho just about everyones struggling with jobs atm
Find a head hunter or have him temp till he finds something. A lot of those temp jobs turn into permanent positions.
