I’m a single mom in my early 20s. I’ve only ever been in one relationship and it was with my child’s father for about 2 years. The relationship was very emotionally abusive and ended up being physically abusive as well.
He told me he loved me 3 days after we met. That being said, I don’t know a normal and healthy timeline for these kinds of things.
I know it’s different for everyone, but roughly how long were you seeing someone before either of you knew you were in love?
I know that I genuinely loved my ex. But I’m also not entirely sure I even know what genuine love feels like or what it feels to genuinely be loved. I’m a very anxious person and I overthink a lot so I’m not sure that I’ll “just know”.
