How many bridesmaids dresses have you actually worn again? What makes it more likely that you do so?

None, and I was in 7 weddings

Zero. No matter how much the brides have insisted I can “totally wear it again” I have worn exactly none of my 8 bridesmaids dresses again. Bridesmaids dresses ALWAYS look like bridesmaids dresses unless you’re one of the lucky few who gets to buy a regular dress from a regular store.

I’ve only been a bridesmaid once, and she let us pick our own dresses. I picked something that I could and would wear again.

None, though I’m glad to say a few of my bridesmaids re-wore theirs. They each picked their own from a certain line and we went with black…navy would be good too!

I managed to rewear one for another wedding 🤷‍♀️ but there are limited occasions to wear a floor-length satin gown

One, I’ve been in three weddings. I rewore one for my last sorority formal in college. It was black, cute, and already paid for. I have another one that I would maybe consider wearing, but haven’t had an opportunity to wear it. It does look pretty bridesmaid-y though, so it would be in desperation.

    NONE.

My single bridesmaid has worn hers again because I specifically told her: I want a corset top as I have a corset, but you can have any style of dress or skirt and pick any colour as long as it’s one of these (red, deep red, navy, gold, patterns are fine). The corset top can be removable. ONLY pick a dress you WANT to wear again that you feel good in. I will pay for it. If you’re worried about the style, don’t be – I’m in a freaking wedding dress, no one’s going to wonder who the bride is.

None. I only have two so far. One is a hideous yellow puffy dress that made me feel like a Peep and the other has a slit that goes way too high for me to be comfortable wearing it.

None, I’ve been in 3 weddings? I donated them after years of sitting in my closet

Only one, but I actually wore it again for my own wedding. We got married at the courthouse, and it was the only nice dress I had at the time because I tend to gravitate to more casual/fun dresses, and it didn’t look like a typical bridesmaid dress. I had intended on buying one just for the occasion, but something came up, and money was tighter than I anticipated around that time. No regrets, though. It was a nice dress. Marriage was trash, but the dress was nice, and I felt pretty.

Absolutely zero! Not a one and one came from Ann Taylor. One my bestie insisted I would be able to wear it again. Of course that never happened. Third one was a nope as well. Thankfully I only had to pay for one of them. This post reminded me they need to go in the donation pile. I forgot they were hanging in a spare closet.

One and I’ve been in 8 weddings. That one dress is from Reformation and it’s gorgeous. My friend was so smart when she asked her bridesmaids to pick their own dress from reformation but in a specific color range. I love my dress and have reworn it 4 times already in 2 years.

A few times actually including on a cruise! I even had the bride borrow it for one of their date nights. It’s super cute and not too formal!

None. When I got married I requested that my bridesmaids pick black dresses that they could and would want to wear again

    1. She chose black and I bought a very classic gown. Reworn it twice. No shot on the other 7 weddings I was in
