How much info at dr’s appt

r/

I have a PCP appt next week, how much info do you feel comfortable giving at these types of appts. Im required by the practice to have an annual appt for precription refills- not medical reasons but red tape reasons.

Last year I said i didnt ‘feel comfortable’ with getting on the scale or providing menstural information.

I got some pushback from the nurse and doc on both of those. The nurse was more of – didnt know what to do, everyone gives the info, i have to fill out the database. and the doc was like ‘i cant treat you w/o that info’ My response was I’m happy to take a pregnancy test, im not pregnant and my weight isn’t relevant to any medication.

all the records are electronic and i really dont want anything extra, their systems were already hacked at least once.

So how much info/ what info are you giving to dr’s these days? anything, everything, nothing?

Outlining what country you live in will mean you get more relevant responses.
