Edit: so many are saying it’s almost constant. What does that ‘mean’? Is it like a cautious awareness in the back of your mind?
How often do you worry or think about your SO’s safety/wellbeing?

often, but i’m an anxious person, so might be a “me” thing.
Hourly
A lot lol. My ex gf would have random bumps and bruises all over her body, and I would ask her practically all the time how it happens. I’ve never seen anyone trip and fall as much as her.
All the time. She’s hearing impaired so I think about things that could negatively affect her simply because she can not hear. But she had been dealing with all this many years before we ever met. She was capable of safe existence before me. But I still worry about things. So I definitely do feel myself as a protector. I just learned a few years ago from my kids that I’m out of town overnight, she leaves the closet light in our room on as nightlight. So I guess she also senses I’m constantly watchful over her? 🤷 But as much as I want to constantly be there, I can’t. Of course she’s capable. Of course she’s got it all covered. But man, I was a nervous wreck the first day I had to go back to work after having our first baby and leaving her to it alone.
Almost all the time.
I have a lot of friends that were murdered by terrorists so I definitely don’t want her to be added to that list.
Its more of a “I hope she is aware of her surroundings, where is her nearest bomb shelter etc..”
“I hope she has some distance from people who look armed”
Its less so “I hope she didn’t forget lunch”.
I’m also always thinking how much time it’ll take me to get to her if an emergency happens
Always, particularly when in public.
All the time. Especially now that my wife is pregnant.
