How to buy things online without parents knowing?

r/

Let’s say someone wants to buy in game items on my phone, but every time they do, their parents get a notification. How to pass that obstacle?

Get your own phone plan with your own credit card for stuff like that. Not another way around it, kid. Sorry. You can’t use someone else’s credit card (which is how you’re able to pay for things on that phone) and expect it not to show up on the statement.

From a parent’s perspective, the best approach to dealing with the desire to buy things online without notifications is to foster open communication and trust. Instead of trying to bypass parental controls, consider explaining to your parents why you want to make certain purchases.

don’t do it. its a trap. the companies main source of income are people who have thousands, and kids like you who steal their parents money by making in-game purchases.

just ask your parents. if they say no, leave it be

if it’s something that you must have, then work for it. pay with your own money. either from you own bank account, or give your parents the money to buy for you (easier to use a credit card to charge $10 a month, then to give your parents a $10 bill every month. that’s part of the trap)
