There’s your problem. Gotta get on the boxer-brief train, bro. I was a boxers-only guy until I started hiking and experienced the chaffage. Boxer-briefs were the perfect compromise between comfort and function, took a week or two to get used to. Otherwise I’d try goldbond powder or something similar.
Try not wearing anything
Try wearing a jock. Holds everything snug and in place.
I used have a problem with chafing while running. I find Underarmour’s HeatGear boxers really good. That and Bond’s Gold friction defense stick.
If you’re wearing boxer briefs then wear regular boxers. I stopped wearing boxer briefs because it would ride up my thighs during workouts and felt uncomfortable once you start being more active. Boxers gives more room and doesn’t feel tight on your balls. Might give that a try or use some powder down there if it doesn’t help.
Baby powder.
Gold bond anti chafing stick
Get 9 inch boxer briefs or even longer compression shorts
Maybe it’s your laundry detergent. I have sensitive skin and have to use the sensitive skin detergent.
Try wearing snug-fitting compression shorts (like Under Armour, Nike Pro, or 2UNDR) without another layer of underwear underneath. These hug your body and reduce friction
Gotta use creams, my guy. I keep a tub of CeraVe and a tub of Aquaphor, when one runs out, I switch to the other, then I drop a chunk when I’m outta both. Haven’t had an issue with chafing since I was… 19 or 20, when I started using them when I worked construction.
Only issue is a distinct distaste for the texture, but it’s better than walking around for a few days like I took a cactus up the ass.
As someone who has to work in the Texas sun and is usually wearing jeans, Gold Bond, body powder, or whatever other brand equivalent. Rub it onto all your chafey bits before you work out. And if irritation, rash, or puffiness occurs due to chafing you can use hydrocortisone cream
Compression shorts
I wear compression shorts under my workout shorts. Full range of motion but allows for me to breathe, and gives support where it’s needed.
Wear nothing XD
Runners glide or compression shorts. Or both.
Boxer briefs or go commando. Frankly I don’t get how anyone can wear boxers or briefs to the gym. Briefs turn into thongs and boxers let your junk fall out. Personally, commando with Adidas track tights is my preference. It’s how pros workout and it’s damn comfy.
You could try briefs? It may do the trick.
Some deodorants, particularly those with antiperspirant and moisturising ingredients, can help prevent chafing. Antiperspirant reduces sweating, which can contribute to chafing, while moisturising ingredients create a barrier on the skin. Solid deodorants, especially those with emollient properties, may be more effective than sprays give them a try of the area that is most of one to the chaffing and see how you go.hiod it
I got on TRT and my nuts disappeared. That helped. Briefs / Underarmour didn’t do anything. Happynuts anti-chafe stick worked well.
Anti Money Butt powder.
Happy Nuts is what you need!
Try corn starch
The simple answer is wear briefs
Friction is your enemy. If I’m hiking I wear a banana hammock and baby oil everything.
I use chamois cream (which is commonly for cycling) to prevent creating a fire between my thighs. Works a treat and smells great too
You could try full length compression pants and just hike them alllll the way up. I wear shorts over mine, it’s comfy and stays in place. I always warm up with yoga so it definitely stays in place during any exercise.
Jock straps exist for a reason
I bought these for the gym and walking:
Pudolla Men’s 2 in 1 Running Shorts 5″/7″ Quick Dry Gym Athletic Workout Shorts
Great, soft built-in liners. Never any chafing.
Avoid Cotton at all costs. Cotton absorbs the sweat and is what causes the friction and rubbing.
I opted to try ‘Step one’ boxers and will never look back.
