I have an inkling we are missing about 90% of the big picture.
Brutal answer-
Law Enforcement HAS all your vital info- they look at it before they make contact with you.
This is why you watch what you share AND say during conversations with people affilated with Law Enforcement.
Yes, President Nayib Bukele has used the military to round people up in El Salvador. Armed soldiers with machine guns, tanks, and armored vehicles like Hummers have been deployed to block off entire neighborhoods, roads, and towns. These operations targeted individuals on government lists and resulted in mass detentions — often without warrants, charges, or due process.
People were arrested simply for being suspected of gang affiliation, sometimes based on appearance, tattoos, or anonymous tips. There’s very little transparency about what happens during these crackdowns, and it’s unclear how many people may have been killed in the process. I’d assume many.
Perhaps someone on Reddit who had family in El Salvador could answer this question better.
If you are in a gang, you don’t need to shoot or do anything to be convicted. It’s called RICO/guilty by association. Yes, gangs are illegal in the United States.
Well my first point is that very few of them, if any, were violent people or in a gang.
Second, ICE apprehends these people in situations where they have very little chance to fight back and overwhelm them with a ton of agents at once. If the suspect is armed, which I assume they weren’t, they’d be on the ground under a pile of agents before they had a chance to draw a weapon.
Third, at least one of them was tackled inside a courthouse after going through the metal detector. ICE looks for situations in which their target is least likely to be armed.
Surveillance and no knock warrants. Or, tricky-tricks.
Law enforcement has a better idea of where all the gangs are than people may think. Their ability to act on it is the main problem. Watch your target. When they are alone and unsuspecting, hit them hard and fast. They are criminals, not complete idiots. When at a complete disadvantage, they’ll comply.
Some may have just received a letter stating that they won something. When they come to collect it, they are arrested.
Many were not gang members, just had Latino blood. They were ambushed at their place of work/worship and other places of support and taken to the ground like criminals and handcuffed. These guys doing it are in street clothes(Caucasian, Borderline, overweight, baseball caps, you know, the look) looking like military thugs doing this.
Law enforcement is really good at grabbing suspects quickly when they aren’t in a position to start a firefight. Wait until they leave a domicile, don’t get em in a group, etc.
Obvious answer: almost none of those people are gang members.
Psyops baby
They weren’t.
well there are two answers.
gang members are not courageous heroes, they are cowards. Like most people, if they are at an overwhelming disadvantage and taken by surprise, they fold.
some or most of the people rounded up are not gang members.

Are you sure? Gang members aren’t constantly in a state of warfare with rival gangs and law enforcement, nor is there always gang related stuff to do. For most gang members, it’s not a full time gig.
