professional hubcap hater, talking about the ones that cover the entire face of the steely wheels, with fake spokes. Clean steelies, to me, look infinitely better than steelies with hubcaps covering them, and arguably just as good as alloy wheels for some vehicles. It’s an opinion, so i can just leave it at that. I hate them, passionately.

Well they are the cheaper wheel. Don’t believe anyone is gonna defend a plastic clip on cap.
Steels aren’t really a thing anymore really outside fleet vehicles packaged to businesses where honestly no one cares… the staff member driving it either got it for free and doesn’t care or has their own car and only drives it for work and doesn’t care… companies only care about bottom line costs.
I had a work ute given to me by my old boss and part of a promotion package…wasn’t flash but came wirh a fuel card so I never paid for diesel and the company looked after the maintenance… so I really didn’t care how it looked
I love hubcaps. Faux wire ones being the only exception. But where are you seeing a car with steelies in 2025?
