I (23f) don’t know to do about my situation with (26m)

r/

I don’t know how to express how I feel to him, and need help with it is their any good ways to tell someone your falling for them? I met V (26m) after I left my husband of 4 years who was cheating. I’ve never been treated like this and he throws mixed signals even though he says he doesn’t want a relationship. He told me when he buys a house at the end of this year he’d have a room for me and last time I saw him we had the most intimate sex. I’ve slowly fallen for him over this time and have been more and more confused if he likes me and wants to try or if I’m just being stupid. He said what he wanted so I’ve tried going on dates with other people and in all honesty he’s all I can think about. Every good morning text the way he acts and is just a decent human being. I’m afraid of ruining it but I also want to know if I’m actually seeing something or if I’m just being a hopeless romantic. He tells me how beautiful I am, try’s to help me get the confidence to not be a push over, he bought me a stupid plushy because I liked cows, we hang out once a week and talk daily, he messages me every morning and sends a sweet good night text, when I go over he cooks me food.

what is a problem here? You met a decent man who treat you good and you complain about what?

Of course he might be layign to you, maybe he is having a wife and kids and just hide it from you, maybe he is a mass murder and he bath in blood of young hamsters, but…

Well you need to know him better and just hang out with him and have a fun a quality time together.

Just continue with this relationship, forget about your ex, go with open mind and of course watch yourself and validate if you really into this or you just lonely

Start giving him the same energy. Start telling him, “i realized i’m not ready for a relationship either”. Start giving him cold shoulder. Don’t expect him to text you & don’t keep reaching out. Don’t curse/argue with him about how you feel. Mirror him. Come back here after a few days, he’ll be chasing you. I’ve been in this situation but i just naturally did this & found out that how it works with most men. The more you want them/show them, the more they distant from you, IF THE MEN IS ACTING how he is. Women can too & in that case, men should mirror her.

Wait, you married your ex when you were just a teenager, and now you want to run headfirst into another relationship? It’s nice to get attention and be treated well – frankly, “never been treated like this” yeah because you were A CHILD before yr ex. This dude, maybe it will pan out into something maybe it won’t. “when you go over he cooks you food” is a NORMAL thing people do for themselves & friends & family, it’s not some enormous significant love-pledge. Try to stand back a bit and don’t get sucked into it, grow up a little ffs you’re only 23 – don’t let yourself get obsesssed with this dude. Live your life a little.
