So to start, I will say that I am a Transgender woman (Person, if that’s too woke lmao) and I have known my partner since we were about 14 ? He is a very funny, outgoing guy who loves video games and stuff ! We have always connected so well and I just need to vent a little and kinda get some sort of advice from some peers ?
Currently in our relationship I will say we have been lacking some communication and definitely a lot of intimacy these last three months. We both have been working all summer mind you and so I do understand and validate that this also plays a lot into this I think ? We never kiss, he is pretty ocd about me touching his arm, or his hands sometimes and often rejects a lot of my romantic or pretty sweet moments I try to start 😅 I have spoken to him about this and he hasn’t ever really given me a solid response ? He has said that “Well, you’re taking hormones pills, I don’t want to risk it messing with my body.” WHICH, I totally understand and appreciate the honesty, because I know I can be that way too about things. But then when I kinda explode with frustration and try to just let him have a chance to just say whatever he needs to say, he just ends up bringing up weed, or he’ll jump back to my hormone pills.
I’ve been struggling with self worth and anxiety and some weird weight gain 😅 because of how repulsive I feel about myself, and I know I shouldn’t be worried about myself and rather him but sometimes I just fall into bad self talk, anyways. I just want some advice about what you all may think ? I don’t know if I’m missing something ? Or maybe I am just not as attractive as he wanted me to be ? Or what but I would just appreciate a good sort of perspective change 🙂 thanks for reading all of this lmao sorry !
TL;DR: I’m a trans person in a year long relationship, but lately there’s been no intimacy or clear communication, and I’m struggling to tell if it’s me, the fact I take my hormones sublingually, or his lack of attraction to me :/
