ME and my gf have been together for almost 8 years now, since when we were 17. Everything has been working perfectly and smoothly, we have solved every issues and are great at communication… But since a few months I feel like we’ve grown up, and we don’t want the same thing from our future. I’m currently studying abroad and would like to stay here, while she stayed in our home country and would like to stay there, mostly to stay close to her family. This is the main thing that make me think that things will not work out, we’ve talked about it many times, but we are both quite firm in our stances, and even if we weren’t I don’t want to make her come here, but feel bad about leaving her family for me, in the same way that I don’t want to renounce to my stable life here for going back to my old country.
