i (26f) have a very hard time being intimate and sexually vulnerable (if that makes sense) with my partner (28m)

r/

ive been with my partner (28m) for over a decade and i feel very comfortable and love him and know he feels the same but i have such a hard time being intimate or sexually vulnerable (if that makes sense) and i don’t know how to change it

i fantasize about romance and sexual things but when it comes to doing things i freeze up or find myself joking it off. it’s even hard for me to use pet names. i feel stuck and i don’t know how to be more vulnerable romantically with him 🙁

has anyone dealt with this and/or have advice on how to become more vulnerable and i guess romantically and sexually liberated?

side note: i have no problem talking about hard life things or trauma, this seriously is strictly romance and sex related

Getting used to touch takes practice and repetition for some people… try small acts of physical touch and feel the feeling. Don’t think how it feels. Tell him to just play along and let you drive.
