Have you ever been to an American casino? If so, what are some differences in table games you notice?

As someone in the industry, do you guys keep tips or pool them? What does the hourly roughly work out to be?
lol AMA but doesnt answer to anyone…
First, what I’ve read about, say Vegas, there are aprons worn that cover pants pockets so you can’t slip chips to yourself, there in a ‘pit boss’ between each collection of tables watching the players and the dealers, and you need to clap your hands in sight of the pit boss and cameras when you leave the table to show you’re not palming anything. Similar rules there?
Second, how did you get up and into the floor. I know the basics of dealing each game, but don’t think that alone would get me running a table.
Lastly, are you focused on one game, or is it yesterday you dealt poker, but today they need you on blackjack?
Have you ever told somebody to stop betting?
Can you tell if somebody is just a degenerate gambler or very wealthy and doesn’t really pinch if they lose a lot of money?
