What’s a Senior UX Researcher, Anyway?
Imagine being the Sherlock Holmes of tech products — but instead of solving crimes, you’re solving why people can’t find the “Buy” button on an app. I’m the person who pokes around asking, “Why did you click that?”, “How did that make you feel?”, and “Would you use this again, or would you rather fight a bear?”
I basically study humans (with their consent, don’t worry) to figure out how they interact with apps, websites, or gadgets. Then I tell designers and developers, “Hey, users hate this button. Let’s fix it before the internet roasts us.”

Do they listen to you? I’ve worked in change management and getting PMs to change design due to end user experience can be an uphill battle sometimes!
What type of leads do you use to determine who to interview?
How do you filter out suggestions to determine which claims and feedback is most helpful?
