Location: NJ United States Local Municpical Landfill
Me and my friends decided to explore a landfill. We drove in past (kind of unclear) no trespassing signs and down a dirt road with a gate which was wide open. We walked into the landfill, went up, and talked, took pictures had a nice time. I brought a can of beer and I tossed it aside at some point (in the landfill). I was careful not to drive after that.
When we started to decend we saw a car coming up so we panicked and ran down the other side of the (massive) landfill. It took a while but we found an exit with a gate but with a human sized gap which we just went through.
We went back to the car and drove home.
We didnt break anything or hop fences except for that last one. Getting in literally nothing stopped us.
Im svared they got my plates and theyre going to break my door down and arrest me.
Should I turn myself in?

They aren’t going to break down your door or arrest you. If the cops do come to talk to you, politely refuse to speak to them without first consulting with a lawyer and then hire a good one.
