I don’t think it would be a terrible idea to reclaim the swastika in its original context

It was once a proud symbol widely used in many parts of Asia which represented good will, luck, fortune, spirituality and prosperity… As far as Im aware, I’m sure somebody will chime in with research on this.

The symbol has been bastardised beyond belief as a symbol of murder and genocide by you know who. I find that to be a terribly sad thing, and I feel the symbol deserves to be restored to its original dignity.

Its already used sometimes by Indians and other folk for spiritual purposes. Ive seen it on somebodies car in dust and finger prints, i was going to wipe it off before I noticed it must have been a religious symbol, because other Indian stuff they had on their car. It was not diagonal, and had other symbols i didnt recognise between the spokes.

I see other people already wearing the symbol crossed out, which can be dumb because it can easily be mistaken as the wrong kind of symbol in bad lighting.

Maybe it would be more punk to wear a clearly Asianised one and reclaim it.

I agree, take it back and reclaim it.

I’m going to get the Celtic variation tattooed.

I don’t think most people think it’s a terrible idea. The population of Asia alone outnumbers the rest of the planet, and afaik people in India at least still use it. It’s a shame the nazis chose the hakenkreuz to resemble it.
