I was just sitting in my car a few days ago playing clash royale when I noticed something moving near the road. I got out and saw this tiny little hare limping and clearly not doing well. It looked injured or sick or just completely lost. I messaged a friend asking what I should do and he told me to leave it alone and let nature take its course. But I couldn’t walk away. It felt wrong to just let it suffer. So I brought it home. I wrapped it in a towel I had in the car and made a little space for it. Since then I’ve been doing my best to take care of it. Gave it water. Looked up what it might eat. Tried to make it feel safe and calm. It has been a few days now and it seems a bit better. Still not healthy but definitely more alert. The weird part is I’ve kind of gotten attached to it. But now I’m stuck not really knowing what to do. I am not a vet or a wildlife expert. I just didn’t want to watch it die. But I don’t want to accidentally make things worse either. I’ve been thinking maybe I should reach out to a wildlife rescue place or someone who actually knows what they are doing. But part of me also wonders if it would be okay to keep taking care of it until it gets stronger. I don’t even know if it would survive being released at this point.
I just want to do the right thing. I didn’t plan for this but now it feels like I have a responsibility. If anyone has actually dealt with something like this or knows what to do please let me know. I really do want to help the little guy in the best way I can.

tbh probs not the best call. Wild animals gotta stay wild, ya know? Best bet’s to call a local wildlife rehab ASAP.
Call an animal shelter. They will give your a place to contact.
Please call a wildlife rehab. Bunnies are particularly difficult to rehab and if it’s already injured it will be even harder.
You’re a sweet person. Try calling a wildlife center and see what they recommend. I couldn’t watch it suffer either!
Phone your local vet, they will have the number of your nearest wildlife animal rehab. Unless you are an expert it’s going to be hard for you to keep it alive.
