That’s it. The harassment, sexism, disrespect, lack of freedom, and misogyny in everyday life. Having a menstrual cycle doesn’t help.
I don’t want to start a gender war. Not saying men don’t have struggles, this post is just about my specific issues with being female.
I’m just gonna fix what I don’t like about my life now, just wanted to end this chapter.

Being a girl in this day and age is NOT easy, way to many creeps and misogynist guys around, and their only popping up more and more. You have a right to hate being a girl.
Also, if this post blows up, it will most DEFINITELY spawn the guys that say, “Oh well, guys have it hard to ya know” so just be weary of that.
besides menstruating, I feel like all the things I dislike about it are related to society. I feel like I would almost enjoy being a girl if people weren’t so weird toward us.
I get you, we feminists have been struggling since the eighties here to get some kind of decent shelter for abused women. Its laughable to say the patriarchy doesn´t exist. Women over the world experience it often.
I do, too. My family members even shame me for being able to biologically have a child. It’s not my fault, it’s just the way I was born.
I a tired of being a middle-aged man.
Everyone hates me. I am presumed to be a bigot. Everyone assumes I am a misogynist. I am the privileged patriarchy.
There is a whole group of people out there that think that just because I am male, I am capable of rape. If they aren’t thinking that, it is because I am invisible.
Other people will let doors slam in my face.
I get nervous at physical therapy when I am paired with a young woman because from what I hear and read on Reddit, they all think people like me are misogynists or waiting to creep on them. So it’s at the point when they make smalltalk (i.e. what did you do this weekend), I feel it is safest to give them as little information as possible.
I can’t get promoted because i am not a woman or BIPOC or whatever. My peer group, even though we have at least 15-20 years to work with at least 15-20 years of training and experience, are being aged out.
Women are way better at being friends with each other. Men like barely express positive emotion or affection to each other. lol
