I have become a bad person at 45 and I am ok with it, AMA (i.e. losing morals)

r/

I think by most contemporary moral and ethical standards I was a good person up until recently. I went through so much pain and torture and abuse in my life that I came to the conclusion that the only thing that remains for me to do for the rest of my life is to work towards bettering my circumstances, no matter the cost on society or other individuals.

Happy to discuss anything with you concerning ethics, morality, my life’s path, etc.

You have mentioned you want to improve your circumstances regardless of even the cost of other individuals. What if it is a person who shows you integrity or respect as a whole, and there is a situation where you can have an advantage at a cost it may hurt them/affect your relationship. Would this be a situation where you would compromise or would you stand by your ideals?

Yeah…things started out all right. Life throws you curveballs. Life grows and changes and you adapt. It’s how social evalutions works. Add to that the fact that gid has a sense of humor. So concentrate on moving forward. You have a primitive sense of direction that you are going to follow because it worked earlier; although under much different circumstances.
