I intentionally have athletes foot because it feels good and I’m done hiding it

r/

I’ve held onto this one for over 5yrs but can’t any longer though some would easily argue I should. I wish I was joking but let me explain

It started as a teen not having enough money to really have enough socks to wear without constantly washing them and I started re wearing some if they didn’t smell. I broke out of that habit as I got older, some money, and some order in my life.. but it was too late I had athletes feet and I had since bought cream and got it removed by simply applying it as noted on the bottle. But there was one thing I noticed while having the condition’. When you run hot water over athletes feet it feels like sex. Like the itch being satisfied like finishing. It sounds insane but it’s real, you can massage it but have to be careful because the skin gets sensitive and will burn after which is where I discovered the hot water. Regardless that is all and after years I’ve decided I may get rid of it for swimming and outside purposes, but I’ve been struggling to do so because of daily showers, it feels great! And I hate that it does

It sounds insane, because it is insane. You have lost your damn marbles.

As someone who has had athletes foot before, no.

I get this! I don’t have athlete’s foot, but when I have an itchy spot from mosquito bites, eczema, healing tattoo, etc., hot water hitting it in the shower feels AMAZING.

If this is AI then we’re cooked.

Can’t relate. I even find arousal to be like an unwanted annoying itch sometimes, so what you’re experiencing sounds very unappealing to me as someone who sometimes wishes to not be sexually inclined at all.

I’ve been fighting off a huge fungal infection that came from a burn on my foot. You’re right, hot water and scratching(I try my best not to) feels ungodly amazing. But I’d rather not keep it. But the hot water when it was bad was fucking nice. It was like scratching the itch x10.

I put finger nail polish remover on my mosquito bites and love to feel the itch turn to burn and fade to nothing. They dry up in an hour and stay tiny but scar….. My ankles are straight spotted.

However, I don’t go get stung on purpose. It doesn’t bother you between the water times. I’m itchy just thinking of it.

I have scleroderma tho and itchy skin is literally the death of me so I’m overly sensitive to that sensation. I have encountered far worse addictions. Just careful because it can spread and become resistant to defenses after awhile. I feel like the cream would be no match for it at some point.

You have likely spread it to multiple people over the five years. This is gross.
