i got my license about 2 months ago, and the day after i got it i hit my car into a tree. it was 100% my fault and i’m paying for all the damages and repairs. i work and am in a musical this summer, and my mom was very very nice in letting borrow her car to drive myself. today i accidentally hit a pole in the gas station parking lot, and idk what to do. i talked to her about it, and she’s understandably pretty upset. i was genuinely going slow and paying attention, so i don’t know what i’m doing wrong. could my adhd have something to do with it? i’m a good driver after my first accident, and i thought i learned my lesson, but i guess i didn’t. what do i do? it’s not my goal to wreck cars i swear. my moms car is also way smoother and safer to drive, as its newer and has a backup camera, unlike my car. i’m scared when i get my car back im just gonna wreck it again, and idk what to do. i’ve screwed way too much up already. also for clarification my car will be out of the shop in the next 1-3 weeks, and my moms car just has a small dent and some paint from the pole on it, and is still driveable.
i keep wrecking cars and idk what to do

Sounds like you need some driving classes as you should not be wrecking like this
From the second accident, it seems that you need some practice backing up. A lot of cars these days do not make it easy to see behind you. They assume you are going to rely on the backup camera and careful use of the side mirrors, as well as warning alarms (if your care has them).
For beginning drivers it can be tough because obviously you can’t look everywhere at once. You need be aware of what is around the car before you even start the process, and then move from checking the side mirrors to the backup camera. The backup camera is the one you always want to come back to because if you are going to hit something, you will see it there before it happens.
By the way – best of luck with your summer musical! What show are you doing? (You can also find me posting on r/musicals. )
Maybe a eye test would help
You said you were going slow and paying attention, so how did you hit the pole?
