Just upfront I am a minor and can not leave or move on my own and the second I can I’m leaving this shithole.
Anywhere you go here you will see posters and pictures and all kinds of signs about the hostages.
People around me who are some of the most progressive people in other ways talk around it and while they don’t support Netanyahu, they don’t see it as a genocide they only see how hamas attacked Israel and not the 70 years of oppression and bombing and how it is an active genocide.
I constantly see people talk about not supporting brands and things because money goes to the government but I can not do anything that doesn’t somehow support the IDF, I don’t have any way to do anything I feel so close to the suffering yet so incredibly helpless.
Even on TikTok those videos where they ask you to interact to help Palestinians I know how the algorithm works and because I’m in such a small minority I know me interacting can bring other Israeli people to the video. I read Hebrew and the things they say are devastating I don’t want someone who is begging for their life to have to deal with racist hate comments.
I do not know what to do and I feel so bad and I can not talk to anyone about it
I know my suffering is incredibly small compared to what’s happening but I just can’t complain about this anywhere so a burner Reddit it is.

You are. Time to go back to wherever your grand parents came from
I hope you are able to find others like yourself that can stand stronger together to better help those being attacked nd harmed
Don’t worry, we all know that Israel is disgusting and the Jews know perfectly well what they’re doing to the children in Gaza, but they prefer to play the victim for something that happened 80 years ago.
That must be tough man.
Saoirse don Phalastín.
Fuck Netanyahu
This is makes me so sad. 😞 I wish I had the answer. You knowing you want to get out is the first step. Just do what you have to right now to stay safe. Don’t you have to serve in the IDF when you turn 18?
I live in the USA. I consider myself very democratic. I vote Democrat straight down the ballot, especially after Trump’s first presidency. When it comes to Israel/Gaza it’s a totally different story for me. My earliest recollection of international news was Palestinian terrorism towards Israelis. That really stuck with me as a child. Fast forward to 2006 when the Palestinians voted for Hamas to rule them, a straight up terrorist organization. It was almost as if I could hear the collective gasp of the entire world. I was in complete shock. It was then I knew that the people of Gaza had signed their own death warrant, it was just a matter of time. I’m surprised Israel put up with the nonsense for so long, Oct. 7th was the excuse to attack. I couldn’t imagine how long Americans would put up with rocket attacks from Native Americans should they ever decide to attack from their reservations and demanded their land back. It just wouldn’t happen, or at least I hope that would never happen for their sake because that would be the end for them. As an American I believe Palestine is something of the past, it’s gone and not coming back. Israel won the Gaza strip in the 6 day war, gave up control, but not ownership rights, in 2005 which led to the elections the following year. In my opinion, at this point Gaza is a wasteland that needs to be rebuilt. Nobody should be living in those conditions. Why doesn’t a friendly neighbouring Muslim country just let them in instead of being shuffled around Gaza while Israel roots out Hamas? They don’t know much about the outside world but if someone were to just step up and let them in it could ease a lot of suffering. Their minds wouldn’t be diseased by extremism, terrorism, and they would live a more fruitful life. Let’s face it as long as Hamas has any kind of presence in Gaza this will never end. Gaza needs to be completely cleaned out and rebuilt but a neighbouring country needs to step up and take these people in in the meantime. I’m interested in hearing OPs view on the ownership of Gaza and what his friends and family think about this as well.
I am from India and i had always been curious to know if there were jewish israelis who actually think israel’s approach to Palestine is problematic. Because in the media i have never seen such voices . Though i have seen non israeli Jewish people support Palestine’s sovereignty. But i feel now there is so much blood between the two countries that its too late for israel to cut them any slack. Its too hard to trust Palestine that they won’t toe the line of any peace deal if it gets made. They have been bullied a lot
