I prefer Apple music over Spotify

r/

I’m very comfortable with the UI of Apple and it just looks ever familiar to me since I’ve been an iPod owner all those years ago etc. Nothing against Spotify as a whole. I’ve tried the free version of Spotify and I didn’t like it. Just idk. I’m simply just a fan of Apple Music and will never buy Spotify premium or use the free version. Am I alone on this?

These are simple preferences and unlikely to be unpopular. You like what you like and it works for you. That’s great.

I can’t decide which is the bigger horseshit from the two.

Spotify plain sucks as an interface for me.

Apple Music really was a revolution when it first started. It’s a very clean library app, integrated well with iOS.

However I think the difference is that many people use Spotify for curated playlists and discovery of new music. Which is a very different type of user and use-case. I personally only listen to my own library and my own playlist, which is just a best-of collection of songs from a single artist mostly.

The only advantage Spotify has is that it can be installed everywhere and jumps from device to device easily.

I use Youtube music since it comes with Premium

Everyone hating but I agree I did the same. Until my friend told me the quality sounds better on Spotify so I changed back. Still kinda miss the apple UI tho, but Spotify has helped me find so many new artists.

My friend and I have apple, Spotify, and YouTube music. YT has the best sound, then apple, then Spotify. Most seamless experience is Apple but YT knows me from years of listening and had better recommendations. I find Spotify’s curated playlist annoying, sounds like I’m listening to the radio.

YouTube music is being slept on so gaddam hard. Ya’ll see to give it a go, and let it have enough time to build an algorythm for reccomendations. The Algo on there has nailed me better than any other service.

It’s literally the exact same thing, except that you don’t need to download another app, how is it an unpopular opinion?

Apple Music clears Spotify and it’s really not close

I’ve found the audio quality from Spotify is better than Apple. I don’t know why if Apple is supposed to be “lossless”. But something tells me that that’s just a marketing term and not really honest and accurate.

Pshh you want an unpopular opinion? My brother uses Amazon music and thinks it’s the best. I didn’t even know it was a service

I know people who use Apple Music but it’s definitely a minority compared to Spotify
