So on 07/072025 I purchased a Ford Fiesta ST from a dealership as part of the deal I voided my CPA mechanical warranty with the dealership but to one out with the bank I financed the car with. After a week of driving the car from home to work etc the car had mechanical failures. I took the car back to Ford who advised that the car most likely had some previous accident damages but needed to strip the vehicle to diagnose it properly. I reached out to MIOSA the vehicle ombudsman and it had been more than a month with out going anywhere. Ford informed me they were going to start charging holding fee’s for the vehicle. I requested that they strip the vehicle and provide a quote. The quote price came up to essentially the listed value of the car from the dealer.
Please give me some advice as to how I should proceed.

Start by reading the warranty you took out to see what’s covered. You should also check your car insurance policy.
But you should know that there’s a solid chance that you’re shit out of luck. If the dealership says “That car was in perfectly working order when we sold it” (which they will) then you don’t have much recourse.
