There are tonnes of things in my to-do list but I only seem to be doing the things which have a deadline. Even with my work , it’s all piling up and I’m stressing but still only doing things at the last moment.
And the things about life , since there’s no deadline. They’re getting postponed to eternity like taking care of health , gym , discipline, life experiences etc.

Break it up into tiny steps. Start a checklist. Add some rewards.
These helped me personally, but the actual change in my personality still took awhile.
I view the beginning of each day as a diverging domino setup. Doing one “good” thing starts a chain reaction that makes the next “good” things easier to accomplish. Drink a glass of water, then do some light stretching, then a 20-minute workout, then a healthy breakfast, then do the dishes, then brush teeth before leaving for work.
But doing one “bad” thing can start a chain reaction in the other direction. Snooze my alarm twice, then scroll on my phone for 10 minutes, then inhale a sugary breakfast, then rush off to work without doing dishes or brushing my teeth.
The secret is that you can always restart making good decisions at any point in the day, but it feels great to start fresh in the morning.
Try setting fake deadlines for the non-urgent things. Treat them like real ones. Also, stack small habits with stuff you already do. For example: after brushing your teeth, stretch for 5 minutes. Don’t rely on motivation—structure wins.
