Do you think the field is becoming oversaturated? I know there is a lot of talk about RT on social media and every person wanting to get into the medical field I talk to wants to get into it. I figure sooner or later we’ll have a problem.
You should give them back, someone might need them!
In all seriousness…when you see an x-ray or MRI and you spot cancer or something terrible, I’m assuming you can’t say anything to the patient. Does that eat at you sometimes? I feel like that would be hard knowing this person is in for terrible news and you can’t say anything. Or can you say something?
What percentage of people are claustrophobic and have to get sedated? Speaking as someone who has cannot breathe with fear when in the tube getting them done on my head.
Hey are you a radiologist? If someone has septic arthritis that has possibly spread to the knee does an x-ray see the joint damage? What medical imaging would be prescribed in this scenario
Do you read and interpret the MRI’s? I want to ask, is a hip MRI do both sides in one go, or if it only e.g. left hip MRI one day and then on another day go back for the right hip MRI?

I got a concussion and being told multiple times scans wouldn’t tell much or would not help much to improve my condition. Is this accurate?

Does an MRI do the right and left hip at the same time? Or it only one side each? (Like you have to do the left hip and right hip on separate days)?
