I want to get into music from the 1950s/60s. What do you recommend I listen to?

r/

Born in ’07.

I only know very popular songs such as Earth Angel, Put Your Head On My Shoulder, Be My Baby, etc. I would appreciate recommendations of your personal favourites.

I’ve been yearning for soulful romantic music, hence the request. Thank you.

Look up bubble gum oldies. You’ll be all set.

Anything Nina Simone or Otis Redding.

    Sam Cooke as well.

“I Only Have Eyes for You” by The Flamingos.

    That’s just a start, enjoy!

Listen to the “American Graffiti” soundtrack.

    It’s all in there.
