So… I’m in a bit of a predicament. It’s currently 1pm and I did not sleep a wink last night. It’s absolutely my fault, I stayed up binge watching a show and finished at 8am. I’m feeling SO tired right now but I have an important errand to run at 3pm, meaning that I don’t have long to sleep. HOWEVER, I have pulled an all-nighter before and made plans to sleep for only 2 hours at 2pm but I ended up sleeping through my alarms and waking up 6 hours later at 8pm… I’m scared this is going to happen again but I seriously cannot stay awake for any longer. Should I set an alarm every 5 minutes or something? Should I not sleep at all? Please help, I’m about to fall asleep 😂😂
I want to sleep but I’m scared I’ll sleep through my alarms

Set multiple alarms (every 5–10 mins), put your phone across the room, and ask someone to call or check on you if possible. A 90-minute nap is better than nothing, just don’t get too cozy! You’ve got this… barely. 😂💀
Depending on how important your errand is, I’d say just stay up. If you know you sleep through alarms, don’t sleep. Drink some sort of caffeine so at least you won’t feel tired but once you get back home, sleep as soon as you can cuz ur body will crash. Sleep deprivation is no joke 😭
Set alarms every 5 minutes. Make sure they’re jolting alarms not soft. Can you ask someone to make sure that you are awake?
set multiple alarms at intervals (e.g., 2:30, 2:45, and 3:00) and place your phone across the room to force you to get up. Consider a power nap (20–30 minutes) to recharge without risking missing your errand. Avoid caffeine, and try to relax without going into deep sleep. The key is to rest a bit while still being aware of the time.😭😭
Get off your phone and sleep!
Sleep an hour then set like an alarm every 5 min start at 205
Don’t go to sleep. As someone who constantly suffers from sleeping through alarms it’s a huge pain in the ass. You can sleep after your errands are done
I totally get this. Setting multiple alarms never worked for me so my strategy is getting a really loud alarm clock and placing it somewhere I would have to physically get out of bed to turn off. I’ve slept through so many phone alarms but the nasty classic ones always work.
Stay awake! I’ve learned the hard way to many times
As someone who accidentally pulls all-nighters occasionally, I recommend staying up UNLESS your errand is several hours long, your lack of sleep poses a danger (e.g. driving), or you have someone to physically wake you up. In the meantime have some caffeine, make sure to hydrate, take a cold shower.
Did you wake up in time??
I wouldn’t put alarm across room in case you don’t heard it. If you can, set alarm on an annoying sound that’s unlike your normal sound. Also on haptic feedback so it vibrates. I keep mine under my pillow so it wakes me wide awake when it goes off.
Lmao are you asleep now? If you’re still up worrying I’d say just 3 alarms a minute apart turn the ringer on max, put your phone right next to your head so the vibrations help wake you up and if you have a kitchen timer just set it as well, if you have any other devices like an iPad, computer, hell, set your microwave and oven timer anything with a timer on it just put them around you like a summoning circle
Sleep in a recliner chair too if you can or kinda sitting up a bit might make it a bit easier to get up.
I’m not kidding you I literally set 6 alarms for the morning 😭 I have one for 6:40, 6:41, 6:42, 6:43, 6:44 and 6:45 lmao. This system hasn’t failed me yet! Lol
