I was a rescue hoist operator during hurricane Helene in Western NC AMA

I’m a hoist operator and crew chief on a UH60 Blackhawk with the NCHART program. My crew and I flew nearly everyday into affected areas from September 28th until November 4th. During that time, I personally ran the hoist on eleven rescues and Task Force North as a whole netted 196 by hoist (very proud of the boys). Ask me anything!
