I was a software engineer for 10 years, then quit to open a brick and mortar men’s clothing resale store, with no prior interest in clothing. I started focusing on streetwear, designer and sneakers, sales went way up, and we are now in year 2. AMA

r/

The store is in the midwest in a medium-ish city, and is a bit less than 1000 square feet.

I basically learned everything as I went, and made every mistake imaginable. Monthly revenue grew about 1000% from last November (when I found my niche) to this May.

I thought it would be fun to do an AMA. I’m going to not mention the store name or the city in the post, mostly just so it doesn’t seem like I’m trying to advertise. Other than that, ask away!
