I was a teen dad, AMA!

r/

Hey everybody, back in the summer after my senior year I found out that my girlfriend of less than a year was pregnant, we were both just 17! We got married in a courthouse and started our lives together and since then we’ve had two more kids. Ask me anything!

What was the most unexpected part of being a young parent? Like something you didn’t think was a part of being a parent until you became one.

Anything you didn’t get to do while you were young that you’re looking forward to once the kids are independent?

What are your favorite things about each child? Do you and your wife have a family bucket list of things to do or experience as a family?

Do you feel like you’re missing out on anything your peers are doing/your youth since you’ve become a teen father?
