I was alive during the end of Vietnam war, Nixon and Watergate, the Iran hostage crisis, the space shuttle explosion, assassination attempt on Reagan, and the blizzard of 78. AMA

If the blizzard of ’78 Tylenol, had haven’t a president during all of the Watergates, would Iran host age crisis or have been resolved by a space shuttle launched by Reagan before Nixon could explode it?

How affordable was housing at the time? Feels like its impossible to own a home now. Especially with my younger generation and the generations moving forward, it feels more and more like fever dream unless you make well above six-figures or are in tech.
But it seemed like at the time it really was attainable with a fast-food or retail job. Even in major cities across the US.
Do you remember throwing away Tylenol and how did you react when you heard about it?

Do you remember the moon landing ?
I’ve kind of already made up my mind about this, but I want to ask. Do you think that the speed of information/misinformation and peoples keyboard commando mentality have changed the popular opinion? I guess the big question is are the things that are happening now (magnitude wise or not) any different than they were back then except we have the glowing rectangles to shape our opinion?
I’m not sure if you started the fire or Billy Joel. Also Cambridge is in the house
